We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative.
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the daily functions within the sales department, taking calls from customers and vendors, as well as answering and acknowledging faxes and e-mails. An effective Inside Sales Representative will pace and track the Invitation to Order process for the Motor Sales business unit, in addition they are responsible for the final preparation of the billing and verifying file completeness.
What you will be doing:
- Handles all customer and vendor communication and maintains orderly and complete customer files, including the Customer Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
- Prepares Quotes for customers and deliver in a professional and consistent format.
- Assists with pricing new product for Service Customers and maintains pricing book.
- Sources product, pricing, and delivery from various vendors
- Maintains Inventory levels and replenishes, as needed
- Receives and processes all Sales Orders, as well as works with shipping department to have orders processed, assisting shipping/receiving, as needed
- Maintains an orderly sales warehouse and ensures orders are shipped on time, with assistance from Shipper/Receiver, while maintaining communication with management, as required
- Supports Outside Sales Representatives, as required, and keeps open communication with team
- Generates and reviews quotes for completeness and compliance with Company Standards
- Ensures accurate pricing and Terms & Conditions for sales
- In conjunction with leadership team, assists in preparation of the Annual budget
- Communicates regularly regarding metrics, schedule issues, customer feedback, sales forecast, and Invitation to Order performance, as required
- Effective and timely execution on all aspects of the Order to Remittance process
- Tracks outstanding orders on a weekly basis and expedite when necessary
- Records and reports necessary statistics and metrics to management team, as required
- Other duties, as required

What we need from you:
- Must have industrial sales & mechanical aptitude with a strong knowledge of electric motor, variable frequency drive, and soft start sales.
- Must be a team player and open to learn and take guidance from other team members.
- Must have strong computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven track record for customer service
- Proven track record of personal growth
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy environment.
- Forklift Ticket – or open/willing to train for certificate
- WHMIS – or open and willing to train for certificate
