Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented temporary Summer Student Administrative Assistant to support daily administrative operations within the office for approximately a 3-4 month term. This position provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in office administration, customer service, and organizational support in a university environment.
Duration: May – August 2026 (approximately 12–16 weeks)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Assist with scheduling meetings and managing calendars
- Respond to emails and phone inquiries from students, faculty, and staff
- Maintain electronic and paper records in accordance with office procedures
- Support event coordination, workshops, or departmental activities
- Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution (college or university)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous office or customer service experience is an asset

Compensation
